Many students who do not do well in mathematics have an aversion to the subject because of a poor foundation. Some of these challenges stem from years and years of ignored deficiencies. Other students perform poorly because they have a mental block due to negativity and past failures. Still others dislike the subject because they’ve never been taught how relevant math is outside of the classroom.
Consequently, Negative 2 Positive’s mission is to:
- Help students sure up a weak mathematical foundation.
- Help students to change their negative mindsets about mathematics to positive ones.
- Show students the bridge between mathematics in the classroom and mathematics in the “real world.”
